Understanding the StockPilot Daily After-Hours Alerts

📘Summary:

Learn what the alerts mean, when they arrive, and how to use them to manage your portfolio. Every trading day after the market closes, StockPilot reviews the 19-position portfolio and sends an After-Hours Alert when/if the AI determines a position change is required.

🔹1. When Alerts Are Delivered

Alerts can be sent:

  • Monday–Friday

  • Usually at or just before 7:00 pm ET

  • Via text & email (if elected), and your dashboard

🔹2. What’s Included in the Alert

Each alert includes:

  • Whether the Alert is for an Income or Growth position

  • The existing position to SELL

  • The new position to BUY

  • The date & time (next market day's open) to execute your trade

🔹3. What to Do With the Alerts

You should:

  • Calculate the position size (shares to buy) for the new (replacement) position using the Sizing Calculator

  • Login to your broker's app and enter a "Market on Open" order (to SELL all shares of existing; BUY # of shares of replacement) for the next market day

  • Sit tight — your order will trigger the morning of the next trading day

Alerts are designed to help you grow your portfolio with low maintenance, not active day-trading.
